What do you enjoy doing when you're not in class?

I like to play sports, so I try to play tennis three times a week. I also like to go to the GSU recreation center when I have spare time.

How did you get plugged in to The Living Room?

One Sunday when I was attending Buckhead Church, I saw a video inviting college students to The Living Room, so I decided to check it out.

Why do you enjoy going to The Living Room and, specifically, church in general?

Going to The Living Room is an important part of my week. It gives me the opportunity to stop everything I am doing and worship the One who holds my life together. I also have the chance to see my friends.

What Bible verse has helped you through tough times throughout college?

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38–39

What is something you've learned during college?

I’ve learned how to manage my time better, how to solve my own problems, how to live with others, and, most importantly, I’ve learned how to sustain my faith in a tough environment.

How has The Living Room played a part in your faith?

The Living Room was extremely important. It was where I was able to put things in perspective. Being part of a group of college students dedicated to Jesus was essential to my faith during college.

How has your small group played a part in your faith?

My small group was the best thing that I could have been a part of during college. I found community that impacted my life and friends that I will have for my whole life.
